World-renowned painters Marc Dalessio and Tina Orsolic Dalessio bring their 100,000 followers' -Instagram and youtube - attention to Hyères from 29 August to 6 September. Considered to be influencers in the global plein air movement, their prescence will spotlight the town and its landscapes to an international audience as they paint on site, en plein air. Et le tableau The Poet de Tina a remporté le Visitor's Choice Award lors du BP Portrait Award à la National Portrait Gallery de Londres. Sa première exposition personnelle, Across Borders, s’est tenue à la Cour de justice de l’Union européenne à Luxembourg en 2022.

But there is much more to see in this town whose history dates to Roman times. Robert Lewis Stevenson said the only place he was happy was Hyères. Why else would Queen Vicotia have wintered here?
